COVID-19 Update

Dated: 1-May-20

The team at Sutton Medical Consulting Centre is pleased to inform you that the centre will reopen for business on Monday 1st June 2020.

The centre will not reopen 8-8 initially, a reduce service will be available 9 - 4 Monday - Friday, these times will be reviewed regularly. We will work closely with you our patients and our teams to ensure we extend the sessions as and when necessary.

We will all need to adapt to a new way of working and being treated. New procedures will be in place to ensure the correct PPE is always used, and the centre is offering a safe environment to be treated in.

We would be grateful if everyone that visits the centre helps us to achieve the standards we will be implementing, and adheres to social distancing and infection control processes, the reception and waiting areas will have restricted access.

The GP surgeries downstairs may continue to keep their front doors closed for the foreseeable future, and we will need to operate a new system whereby patients are informed to arrive a few minutes prior to their appointment time and call the centre when they arrive. The patient will be greeted at the rear car park entrance by a member of the team, given the necessary checks, escorted into the building and asked to take a seat in the designated area outside your appointment/treatment room.

We will ensure that we extend the times between appointments to allow the room to be sanitised thoroughly before the next patient is seen.

Thank you for understanding our reasons for temporarily closing and we look forward to seeing you again very soon.
