Andrew Willis is a consultant interventional radiologist with a special interest in venous intervention and embolisation techniques. Having trained at St. Mary’s Hospital Medical School qualifying in 1997 he completed basic surgical training in London, Essex and Cheltenham and subsequently radiology training, including an interventional radiology fellowship, in Birmingham.
Andrew is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons in London and a Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists. He was appointed a consultant interventional radiologist at University Hospital Birmingham and the Birmingham Children’s Hospital in 2008. Andrew has developed an interest in minimally invasive venous techniques including the endovascular treatment of varicose veins. He is clinic director and lead clinician at The Whiteley Clinic Birmingham and passionately believes that the whiteley protocol provides the very best in care for patients with venous conditions.
Along with lead nurse Melanie, Andrew co founded Birmingham Aesthetic Rooms in 2013 and is trained in a number of facial and body aesthetic techniques. As an interventional radiologist he strives to make medical treatments as minimally invasive as possible. This combined with a passion for leading edge medical technology allows Andrew to identify the safest evidence based aesthetic treatments for his patients.
Andrew is director of sculpt medical offering coolsculpting body contouring treatments. Andrew and his dedicated team are extremely passionate about this non invasive treatment, which is the only FDA cleared clinically proven medical graded non invasive fat reduction device. Patient safety is paramount for Dr Willis and his team.

Andrew is a father of three boys Jacob aged 11, Zak aged 7 and Adam aged 5. They all love football. Andrew runs Meadow Park, a local youth football team and Jacob and Zak are signed to the football academy at Birmingham city football club.

Professional profile
Having gained her degree in Glasgow in 1998 Melanie progressed through her nursing career in a number of surgical specialities. She subsequently worked with vascular devices in several roles including marketing and clinical training manager for medical companies and later worked for a global aesthetic medical company.
Whilst these roles required clinical input, Melanie missed regular contact with patients and has now returned to her nursing roots. She is both co-founder of and lead nurse for Birmingham Aesthetic Rooms, having a special interest in coolsculpting, an extremely safe non surgical alternative to liposuction, with which she has extensive experience. Melanie is also a trained in other aesthetic techniques performing a number of facial rejuvenation treatments including anti wrinkle injections and facial fillers.
In addition Melanie is the lead nurse at The Whiteley Clinic Birmingham, having been trained in the world renowned whiteley protocol for the minimally invasive treatment of venous conditions including varicose veins.

Dr Thuva works across Birmingham and Black Country in Community Dermatology. He is the founder Dr.Derme Skin and Aesthetic Clinics. Since 2017, he has been helping patients rediscover their confidence with skin and aesthetic treatments. He has trained many colleagues across the country in aesthetics and lectures on dermatology. He founded the Black Country Skin Club to aid more collaboration between primary and secondary care for better patient outcomes.
