Mr Christopher Jennings
Ear, nose and throat surgeon
Mr Christopher Jennings is an ear, nose and throat surgeon. He qualified at Leicester University Medical School and trained in ENT in East Midlands, Leicester, Nottingham and Derby. Mr Jennings spent one year in Adelaide training in head and neck cancer and conditions of the nose.
Currently Mr Jennings works at University Hospital Foundation Trust. He will see all patients with ENT problems, however he has a special interest in diseases of the nose and Head and Neck Cancer. He provides an NHS ENT clinic at Sutton Medical Consulting Centre, this includes speech therapy and will soon include a clinic for tinnitus and some balance disorders.
Christopher Jennings lives in Sutton Coldfield and can often be seen pounding the streets as he trains for a half marathon later in the year.
Mr Mark Simmons
Consultant ear, nose and throat surgeon
Mr Simmons is a consultant ear, nose and throat surgeon providing private consultations for all types of ENT conditions.
He has a particular interest in diseases of the nose, globus (feelings of a ‘lump in the throat’), and in children’s ENT conditions. He has undertaken additional training in facial plastic surgery and also offers cosmetic procedures to enhance the appearance of the Nose and Ear.
He trained in Oxford, Manchester, Holland and the USA before starting as a consultant locally. He believes in spending adequate time with his patients to get to the bottom of their condition, and to explain the clinical findings together with the treatment options in plain understandable language. It is important to him that you understand what is going on.
He has sessions at Sutton Medical Consulting Centre on Monday teatimes/evenings. In the NHS he practices at Good Hope Hospital in Sutton Coldfield, at Birmingham Heartlands Hospital and in Walsall. Outside medicine, he is married with 2 young sons. He lives in Sutton Coldfield and supports the local Rugby Club where his sons play.
