I am a qualified Registered Nurse with 30 years of Nursing experience and 16 years’ experience as an independent Nurse Prescriber. Since 2020 I have been working as a Headache Clinical Nurse specialist in the Complex Headache service at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham.
I manage treatments for patients suffering with migraines, cluster headaches, and other trigeminal autonomic cephalalgias. I specialise in providing injectable treatments such as Botox injections for migraines, greater occipital nerve blocks, CGRP therapy, as well as Gepants, medication and lifestyle advice.

I specialise in Neurology and look after a wide range of Neurological conditions, but my Primary area of interest is Multiple Sclerosis.
I qualified from Medical School in 2008. I have since moved to the UK in 2010 where I completed my foundation and core medical training. I completed Neurology specialist Training in 2021 and Spent 2 years on a research fellowship In Multiple Sclerosis. I have been a Consultant Neurologist Since 2021.

Dr Al-Araji is a Consultant Neurologist who has been treating patient with neurological disorders since 2016. He is currently working at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire where he treats NHS patients with a wide range of neurological conditions, teaches undergraduate medical students at Warwick University, and conducts research in Multiple Sclerosis (MS).
Dr Al-Araji has experience in treating neurological conditions such as Migraine, Epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease, Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Myasthenia Gravis and peripheral nerve disorders. Dr Al-Araji can help in the diagnosis of patients with symptoms of headaches, tremors, blackouts, altered sensation, weakness, balance problems, dizziness, speech difficulties, and can provide a thorough analysis and a precise management plan.

Dr Al-Araji earned his medical degree (MBChB) from Keele University in 2012.
