Professional Profile

I am a senior consultant urological surgeon with over 30 years of urology experience. I graduated as a doctor in 1984 and completed my urology specialist training at John Radcliffe and Churchill Hospital, Oxford in 2000. I am a kidney stone specialist and offer laser treatment and ESWL shockwave for kidney stones. I provide a service for all patients with prostate enlargement, PSA and related prostate problems. I have a fast-track haematuria clinic (blood in the urine). I offer surgical treatment for adult circumcision and scrotal conditions like epididymal cyst, hydrocele and varicocele. I see all patients with urinary tract infections.

I have worked in the NHS for over 32 years and since retirement now work privately at Spire Little Aston Hospital and Sutton Medical Consulting. I passed my Fellowship FRCS in Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons, Ireland in 1990. I completed a one year diploma in urology at the Institute of Urology University College London in 1993. I passed my MSC in urology at the Institute of Urology University College London 1996 to 1998. I cleared my FRCS urology specialist exam in 1999. I passed FEBU, Fellowship European Board of Urology in 2001. I have been a regional and national urology trainer accredited by the General Medical Council. I am an examiner for revision course FRCS urology.

The quality and provision of medical service depends upon a good teamwork. I have an excellent and experienced team consisting of interventional radiologists, anaesthetists and specialist nursing staff and support teams.

I have presented my work at British Association of Urological surgeons conference, European Urology and World Endourology meetings. My research work has been published in British journal of Urology and Journal of Endourology.
