Professional Profile

I am a well-established Orthopaedic Surgeon, specialising in Hand, Knee and Shoulder complaints. Following my Master Degree, I joined Nottingham & Mid Trent Higher Surgical Training Programme and later went to Cambridge & East Anglia orthopaedic to complete training in orthopaedics.

As a part of my training, I completed a knee and shoulder fellowship, where I  trained for primary and revision knee replacement, ACL/PCL ligament reconstruction, Meniscus repair and Knee Arthroscopies. I also furthered my knowledge by training  at the Nottingham shoulder and elbow unit and at Norwich upper limb and trauma unit. My NHS practice includes dealing with sports injuries, knee and shoulder injuries.

I work for the Royal College of Surgeons, University of Birmingham where I work as a senior lecturer  and NHS England. I am involved in mentoring  junior doctors.
